"Circe's Exile" 11x14 Acrylic Painting on Wood Panel

$350.00

Inspired by my time reading the novel, Circe, by Madeline Miller, I pictured the island of Aiaia, where she was exiled to by her father, Helios, the Sun God, and Zeus. The wild terrain she explored and made her home over centuries, surrounded by unforgiving seas filled with monsters and magic, invaded by cruel gods and men, became a powerful representation of strength and determination.

Original acrylic painting on square cradled wood panel. This piece is finished with a gloss varnish to protect the painting and preserve its vibrancy.

Cradled wood panels arrive ready to hang, or can be positioned and displayed on a shelf. Buyers may add any additional hanging hardware that they prefer.
