I was inspired by the quote by Isak Dinesen: “The cure for anything is saltwater; sweat, tears, or the sea.” I let myself “go with the flow” and simply play with blues, moving the paint in different ways, with brushes, my fingers and spraying water to create drips. I imagined the soothing, peaceful feeling of floating or swimming on the ocean, watching light, shadows and shapes flow and waver with the movement of the water.

This piece is finished with a gloss varnish to protect the painting and preserve its vibrancy. It is unframed, so you can choose what kind of matte and frame will work best for your space. The painting will arrive signed and dated, along with a certificate of authenticity.
