Any Harry Potter fans out there?
The latest chapter of JK Rowling's The History of Magic in North America, titled "Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" was revealed today onto be located on top of Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts.
And I am kind of freaking out over this.
It makes total sense! The Salem Witch trials, the northeast being a hub for education, it makes a lot of sense that this would be the chosen location of the North American school of wizardry.
“The great North American school of magic was founded in the seventeenth century. It stands at the highest peak of Mount Greylock, where it is concealed from non-magic gaze by a variety of powerful enchantments, which sometimes manifest in a wreath of misty cloud.”
What you may not know is how magical a location it truly is.
Here are some photos from the weddings I have photographed on Mount Greylock. If you get the chance, you simply must drive or hike up this mountain and see for yourself!
