Laura and Sean were married in late May at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts. With any New England wedding, there's always a chance for unexpected weather. While my first thought as a photographer on a rainy wedding day is "Awwww man!", it quickly becomes a fun challenge of making beautiful images that are even more special.
I was so happy to have my dear friend Jessica Bartlett along with me for the day to second shoot. She's an incredibly talented journalist and I was so thankful to have someone there to get extra angles and let's face it, hold my umbrella during Laura and Sean's photos.
Longfellow's Wayside Inn is the oldest operating inn in the country, and it's AWESOME. It warms my New Englander heart to have the opportunity to photograph weddings at places that are so rich with history and that special New England charm. Their ceremony was in the Martha Mary Chapel on the hill, and even with the rain coming down, the simple, classic chapel space felt bright and warm.
